Best way to get from CDG to Paris

We arrive in CDG on June 6th - what is the best way to get to our hotel in Paris. We are a bit mature and don't wish to take the train or bus. Is there a shuttle service or a car service that someone can recommend that is reasonable? Thanx (I put this out yesterday but seem to have lost it - sorry if this is second one)

The best answer really depends on when you arrive in Paris because you want to avoid rush hour. My wife and I took a taxi and it was ideal. We are also mature - our ages total 134 - and we drove through the city on a Saturday morning at 9.30 with no hold-ups. From CDG to the 6th Arr. cost 42 Euros and we found it well worth it. Bearing in mind the cost of your flight and accomodation, €42 is trivial. Go by taxi.

We took "Paris shuttle", http://www.parishuttle.com/and they were on time both coming and going. They also speak English when phoning. Very easy for us.

With Shuttle-Inter you do not need to phone, and you and your party will be the only ones in the van.

adrienne - is Leader shuttle a shared ride were you may have to share he trip[ (and potentially stops at he hotels of) or passengers, or is it a private transfer?

We have used Shuttle-Inter www.shuttle-inter.com on a few trips and were pleased. They were prompt and courteous on both arrival and departure. The price is quite similar to what a taxi would cost but without the risk of the meter running of you do hit snarled traffic.

We have booked Shuttel-inter. Thank you all for your help - if not pleased we are taking info on parishuttle and leader shuttle and may consider a taxi as well for the return. This is such a great community - everyone is so willing to help and I have never been given bad info - thank you all. We leave tomorrow for NYC, then London and then onto Paris for our 50th anniversary blast.
