Best route from Rothenburg to Dachau then to Munich?
We're planning to drive from Rothenburg to Dinkelsbuhl & Nordlingen then to Dachau before going on to Munich. Is there a better route, anything scenic we shouldn't miss, or any other suggestions? Thanks!

Dachau is off the Munich by-pass, A-99. If you come on the A-9 (the Nuernberg - Munich autobahn), you go east on the by-pass. Coming on the A-8 Stuttgart - Augsburg - Munich autobahn, you take the A-99 going east.

Since you are driving South on the RR thru Dinkelsbuhl & Nordlingen, I assume you will be approaching Munich from the East on A8. The easiest way to get to the Camp is to turn off on B471 before reaching A99 and proceed East to ST 2063. Turn North on ST2063 ( Alte Romerstrasse). The Camp is about 2 KM on your left.
