Jennifer,
The Genio is right at Piazza Navona, with its fountains and church. You can certainly walk to the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza del Popolo, and Spanich Steps.
We (in our 70s) have walked to the Forum and Colosseum, and friends walked to the St.Peter's-Vatican area. However, in the interest of time-saving, you might take the bus,
which is not difficult to manage. We've used them many times, so it must be easy!
For the Catacombs, we took the Archeobus, which was a hop-on-hop-off tour.
Have a wonderful trip!
