Those cities are too close that you may have a difficult time finding a cheap airplane ticket. The airlines think that if you fly this route that you are rich.

It may be cheaper to buy a return ticket and not use the Budapest to Prague part. You cannot tell the airline of your plan because they will refuse to sell you a ticket, especially American Airlines (called "throwaway ticket" strategy)

If you find none, you might book yourself a sleeper in a 3-berth single sex comartment from Prague Hlavni (beware pickpockets) at 2334 to Budapest Keleti at 0813. The basic fare is 60 eurs, and you add 40 euros fir the sleeper berth. Or add fifty euros, and travel in a first class two-berth sleeper.

[email protected]

Ben's reply is probably the cheapest option but you can compare it with the CSA online booking system at www.csa.cz. Sometimes they have special fares for returning on weekdays etc which as you only want a 1 way flight you might take advantage of the offer.

Jason
