What does your daughter want from the beach? To sunbathe for several days, sit and look at the water, have drinks by the beach overlooking the water?

You're taking a chance with the weather if you plan your vacation around a beach in May. What will you do if it rains or turns cold?

The beach at Cefalu is pretty with nice sand. The small town is charming. But it will probably be too cold to swim in May and may be too cold to sunbathe for very long.
