Bob- Where is VonAllmen's bakery? Have a great trip and hope you report in when you get back.

There are two bakeries on the main street, which is just about the only major street, in Lauterbrunnen. One is more in the center of town near Hotel <BR>Sch&uuml;tzen; the other one is more toward Staubbach Falls. Both are on the west side of the street.<BR>As I understand it, the von Allmen family owns both bakeries.<BR>

We just spent four days in the Bernese Oberland, staying in my aunt and uncle's cabin. We'd go back in a flash and stay for ten times longer. I think you'll have a great trip. It either misted, rained or poured the whole time we were there (same system as has, most infamously, blasted Prague) but we walked everywhere anyway, got used to umbrellas, loved it. Have fun!
