Berlin - transport question
Is it possible to use public transport to get to the EasyHotel from Tegel airport? The hotel's address is:-
Easyhotel
Rosenthaler Strasse 69
Berlin
Unfortunately the directions on their website are from Schönefeld Airport and not Tegel.
Thanks.

It is possible, but you may be better off with a taxi. It is doable though.
Playing around with the Berlin public transit website (http://www.bvg.de/index.php/en/) reveals that the best route to Tegel Airport involves taking the U8 U-bahn to Osloer Str. and then Bus 128 to the airport. Travel time ca. 40 minutes.
A taxi would probably take 20 - 25 minutes and would probably cost 20 - 30 Euro.

Taxis are really out of the question, budgetwise that is. I need to keep the trips cost as low as possible. Thanks for the link. I have looked at the website link and I'd like to know if there are many stair to deal with as I'll have luggage in tow.

No stairs.
Both Osloer Str. and Rosenthaler Pl. subway stations have elevators from street level.
At Osloer Str. subway station, the elevator is (if I remember correctly) not at the entrance to the station where you leave the 128 bus, but a few yards away at the tram stop (in the median of the crossroads. You should see it easily from where you'll leave the 128 bus.
At some stations you need to change elevators from street to mezzanine level and to the platforms.
If you need a day or multi-day pass for public transport, you can already get it at the transit authority's booth at Tegel aiport (or the yellow vending machines).
