Europa Park is waaay off the travel route from Munich to Berlin. About 400 km off.
So you have to travel from Munich to Freiburg area first (through or around the Black Forest depending on the transport mode and available time), then to Europa Park. From there to Berlin, which is further than directly from Munich to berlin. You can do all this - but it will take time.

Unless you have a car, you might want to check www.airberlin.com on flights.

... or tuifly.de
but a flight only makes sense if you go directly from Munich to Berlin and skip Europa Park.
Otherwise, by flying from Munich to Berlin you effectively save something like 1 h compared with the train - so donīt exclude the latter alternative either.

hi, RMPC
does that mean you have 9 days travel between these cities, or 9 days in total to see them as well as anything else?
if the former, i suggest train from Berlin to Freiburg, then hire car - tour europa park and schwarzwald, then drive across to Munich, via, for example the Bodensee.
if you just have 9 days total, IMO just stick to Berlin and munich, and train in between.

Went to both places and there is so much to see. Berlin is an easy city to walk around and use the underground too. Lots of WW2 stuff but you need to get a book as they don't tell you the Hilter sights. Munich is lovely. The town square is fun. Let me know if you need info on these places..buy guide books ahead of time and read up about these cities.
