Bercy Train Station in Paris

I have been trying to find where the Bercy train station is. I am scheduled to take the night train from Paris to Venice and it leaves from Paris Bercy. I can't find it anywhere. Is it under a different name? Thanks for any help.

On my map of Paris I notice a Gare de Bercy in the 12th arrondissement. It is in the same general area as Gare de Lyon. Gare de Bercy is at metro stop Bercy.

It's in the southeast corner of the city, on the right bank, next to the Palais Omnisports which is right next to the Seine. For more Paris information e-mail me: [email protected]

If you have a map of Paris, look for Gare de Lyon, which is about 1K southeast of Place de la Bastille. Both places show on most maps.
The Bercy train station is about 1 K southeast of Gare de Lyon.
It is a small station, and there is a Metro stop by the same name. Rue de Bercy runs along the southwest side of Gare de Lyon and leads to the area of the Bercy station. There is also a Boulevard de Bercy that passes to the north of the Bercy station.
My understanding is that the Bercy train station until recently was just for freight not passengers. This might explain why it does not appear in guide books, etc. Our train left from Bercy and we had the same problem finding it as you are.

If I remember correctly, this is the station where we had some problems with our Eurail Pass (turned out okay though). The little guy at the window filled it out wrong twice. If you want, see my post under "My Advice for Other First Time Europe Visitors". I think that's correct. Safe travels.

Lots of construction work at Gare du Lyon. Guess that is why they use Bercy.

We were in Paris in May and our hotel was outside the Bercy metro and we used it several times with no problem. There is a great Italian restaurant in the area called Le Venezia.
