I recall a souvenir shop a block or two off Piccadilly Circus in London (lots of directional signs if you get anywhere close). It is adjacent to the little bar where Paul met Linda and it had a lot of memorabilia. Maybe someone here can be more specific about that place; it's been a couple of years since I stopped in.

A group called Original London Walks does two different Beatles-related guided walking tours in London. For descriptions of the walks, go to their website (http://london.walks.com/) and search for "Beatles". I haven't been on either of the Beatles walks, but I have been on several other walks led by Original London Walks, and they usually do a good job.

went on the "Day in the Life" London Walks two years ago, and it was great. Saw where they filmed one of their movies, their apartment buildings, where Paul and Linda got married, and ended up on Abbey Rd. The tour guide Richard Porter is the head of the Beatles fan club in UK and VERY into it. Lots of fun.

The Beatles memorabilia store is in the same vicinity of the SHerlock HOlmes museum, both of which are near Mme. Tussaud's. Sorry that I don't have an exact address, but maybe someone else on the forum does. The store is owned by a real character, very nice guy who seems to be wearing a bad Elvis wig and is incredibly ( as he should be!) enthusiastic about The Beatles. If I can find the address, I will post later. Good luck!

Michelle, You probably already know about Abbey Road. Be sure to take a black felt tip pen to sign the wall. Don't worry--they expect it! Also, there's Paul's office at Soho Square. That's included on Richard Porter's tours. I've been to Liverpool several times, and it's an absolute must for Beatles fans. If you can't go there for a few days, you can make it a day trip from London. You can do the Beatles coach tour, the ferry, Albert Dock, the Beatles Story, and 20 Forthlin (Paul's house!) http://www.visitliverpool.com
http://www.merseyworld.com
E-mail me with any questions. I've been to Liverpool several times, and really know my way around. They're a terrific bunch over there.
