Bavarian sightseeing ticket?
I recall seeing on this forum about a sightseeing ticket for Bavaria. Pay one price and you can get into several sights. I've done a search and can't find it and of course did not bookmark the thread. Sorry I haven't any clue what it is called. Hopefully someone has any semblance of what I'm talking about.
Also do you know if I have to buy it in advance? i.e. before my trip
Or would I be able to purchase it from say the tourist office in my first stop.
I'll be in Bavaria for 2 weeks and pretty sure this will prove more economical.
Many TIA!

There is a 14-day ticket for castles, palaces and gardens in Bavaria:

AHA!
look at www.blackforest-tourism.com
among the links Left lower is the Schwarzwald Card--looks like it might be what you were interested in...
For local travel in the Schwarzwald (at reduced prices) look into the link below--the Konus Card.

Wow--thanks for bringing this up!
The card can be used on any 3 days of a 12 month period for FREE admission to such things as the Europa-Rust amusement park, many pools and waterparks, numerous lifts and funiculars, a few caverns and mines, wine-tastings, free coffee and cakes (at participating sites), some guided town tours and multiple museum admissions! Several lesser attractions can each be visited ONCE outside of the 3-day period of validity.
The rate in 2011 was: Adult 32 Euros (or 58 Euros to visit the Europa-Rust park).
