Thanks for the correction flanneruk. Here's the website for the schedule and fares for the Oxford/Heathrow bus which goes mostly every 20 mins

OK - I'm a little confused here. You are using a day in Bath to tour Stonehenge AND the Cotswolds?? Stonehenge is nowhere near the Cotswolds -- but Woodstock is on the very doorstep of the Cotswolds.

Stonehenge is a more convenient day trip from London than it would be trying to lump it in w/ the Cotswolds.

You could do a day trip from London to Salisbury/Stonehenge, do one/day night in Bath and 3 nights in Woodstock (1 for woodstock/Blenheim/Bladon, 1 for Oxford and 1 day to visit some Cotswold villages). There is really no reason to pack and move again to stay a night in Oxford -- it is very close to Woodstock.

janis I didn't umderstand the OP to mean she's packing and moving to stay in Oxford from Woodstock. She will have spent a day (#9) and night in Woodstock visiting Blenheim and the town and then has her last day (#10) before leaving on an evening flight. She's asking whether spending that day in Oxford makes sense. I think it does but don't know what to do with luggage to avoid having to backtrack to Woodstock before going to Heathrow. I also suggested Windsor as an alternative but still there's the lugggage problem.

I agree using Bath for touring Stonehenge and the Cotswolds is not ideal, but that is how these tours are set up. She will have one day IN Bath and the second day to do the tour from Bath. She has added a day and night in Woodstock based on my suggesting it as a nice spot.
