I thought the post title said it all.
cmcfong is asking if anyone has stayed at "Base2Stay" apartments which are in Kensington in London.

No, I haven't. They look nice (probably tiny-tiny) but they are cheap enough. I looked up for 5 nights and got a grand total including taxes of $895 US.

Sorry to confuse you, flybob. It is getting a lot of press . The universal complaint on TA is the room size. It does look small but the price is very good and the location is OK.

Hey, I hadn't heard about this hotel, so thanks for tipping me off about it. The press has been good, and most of the reviews on Trip Advisor are positive. The "apartment with a kitchenette" feature sounds a little misleading. It's not an apartment. It sounds like the kind of motel room you'd rent at the beach with a small kitchenette. The rooms do sound small, but that's Europe, isn't it. (It's not Las Vegas!) Yes, the location is okay, and the price is good. I'm going to watch the TA reviews for a while, and see if it remains positive. cmfong, if you stay there, let us know, okay?

I'd agree that I would never call these places "apartments". There are four nice pictures on the website, but since none of them are anything more than a close up, I strongly suspect there was no way for a photographer to back up far enough to get a full shot of anything. That's what makes me think they are tiny-tiny.
