Barcelona Articket and Casa Mila
I was hoping someone might be able to clarify this... In my travel guide books (i.e. Rick Steves), it states that the Barcelona articket will cover the costs of Casa Mila. However, when I looked at the website http://www.articketbcn.org/, I wasn't able to see it listed? Can anyone who went to Barcelona recently clarify?
Also, other than the Picasso museum, which of the other listed locations are worth going to? We are a group of 20-25 year olds and we do want an element of art/museums into our travel plans but we aren't art-buffs or anything.
Thanks

I just got back from Barcelona (my trip report may help you out), and I'm in my late 20s. We loved the Picasso Museum. Sagrada Familia was AMAZING. We booked tickets in advance, and I highly recommended that.
Walking around the Block of Dischord and Passeig de Gracia showcased many of Gaudi's architecture. I highly recommend Rick Steves' Barcelona. It was really helpful.

Perhaps its possibly listed by it's so-called "nickname"...La Pedrera. This is from a description on Barcelona sites:
Casa Milà, popularly known as ‘La Pedrera’, is a most unusual building, constructed between 1906 and 1912 by the architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926) and declared UNESCO World Heritage in 1984. Today it is the headquarters of Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera and houses a cultural centre that is a reference point in Barcelona for the range of activities it organises and the different spaces for exhibitions and other public uses it contains.
La Pedrera today is a beacon shining with creation and knowledge, a great container full of content, which has a crucial role to play in the transformation of society and commitment to the people.

These are some familiarization pics on Barcelona which may give you some ideas for your visit. Suggest you also take in the Sunday morning folk dancing ("sardana")in the front of the Cathedral, band and all as seen in the pix.

The ArTicket includes the 6 museums noted on the page (http://www.articketbcn.org/en/barcel...s/infopractica). All of the museums are worth visiting, but it will depend on what you are interested in. One or two you may find boring if you don't have an interested in certain types of art (Picasso & Miro), social and political conflict (CCCB), art and activism (Eulàlia Grau at the MACBA), medieval and modern art (MNAC).
CASA MILÁ ( Admission: Adults €16,50) and CASA BATLLÓ (General Admission: €20,35) are on separate tickets.
You can purchase a combo ticket for the Sagrada Familia and Casa Museu Gaudí in the Parc Güell (www.sagradafamilia.cat).
