BAGGAGE STORAGE IN VENICE

WILL BE IN VENICE MID JUNE WITH 9 - 10 HOURS TO KILL BEFORE CATCHING A TRAIN TO MILAN. ANY SUGESTIONS FOR STORING LUGGAGE FOR THAT PERIOD SO AS NOT TO HAVE TO CARRY AROUND?

They have a baggage storage room where you can check your baggage and have it stored inside the train station very conveniently located, but I do not know how much it costs. I doubt it would be too much.

When you come off the trains, follow the signs to "left luggage". It is on the right as you leave the trains and head out of the station. The charge is 3E/bag...well worth it! They take your bag and put in on a rack and give you a claim check. It isn't locked up, but it isn't accessible to the public. Just lock it, and obviously, take your valuables with you.

Enjoy your trip!
Anne

WE ARE GOING TO BE THERE FOR 3 DAYS BUT THE LAST DAY, WE CHECK OUT EARLY AND WE DON'T WANT TO LEAVE UNTIL THE EVENING. WE WANT TO SPEND AS MUCH TIME IN VENICE AS POSSIBLE BEFORE LEAVING FOR MILAN TO STAY WITH FRIENDS

I'm confused--why go all the way out to the train station and then back into town again?
Your hotel I'm sure would be happy to keep your bags in a closet after you check out that day.

Same problem...different twist.
We will be disembarking a cruise ship in the morning, but not flying out til late afternoon.
Now...where do we store our luggage?
Should we take the Princess transfers to the airport, check in and then go back to the city?
How far/expensive is it to go back and forth from the airport?
