Baggage storage in Perugia

Is there any place where bags can be stored for the day in Perugia?

We are stopping there for an afternoon on our way from Bevagna to Florence, and we do not want to leave our bags in the car while we tour the town.

Thanks for any advice.

According to Trenitalia.com, there is baggage storage at the main train station in Perugia.
