Bag storeage in LeHavre
We are taking a cruise in May to end in LeHavre, then traveling Italy and France before another cruise home from Southampton. We have a "cruise bag" we don't want to traipse all over with. Does anyone know of a place in LeHavre where we can store a bag for a couple of months and then pick up on our way to Southampton?

I don't believe Brittany Ferries or airport have left luggage facilities (nothing shown) because of France's Vigipirate regulations.
SNCF has left luggage facilities only at the following locations:
Bordeaux St-Jean
Lyon-Part Dieu
Marne-la-Vallée Chessy
Marseille
Nantes
Nice
Paris Austerlitz
Paris Est
Paris Lyon
Paris Montparnasse
Paris Nord
Strasbourg
Toulouse Matabiau
If you booked through an agency, you may want to check with them regarding luggage storage options in Le Havre. Or check with the cruise line.

Thanks, Robert. We may have to schlep it to Paris, though we really didn't want to. We're traveling over on one cruise line and back on another. Cunard has always kept them for us, but we've always gone over and back with them.

The stations listed above have automatic lockers and you can only leave a bag in them 24 hours, anyway. SNCF has manual left luggage facilities in some other stations (like Lille and Dijon), but nothing as small as Le Havre. I'm not sure even they allow you to leave it that long, but if they did, they charge 6 euro a day, so for two months that would be 360 euro. You should just ship it home for that amount. I wouldn't trust any bag left in the consigne in a train station that long. The places I know that store luggage in Paris outside train stations charge from 7-10 euro a day (like Bagages du Monde and City Locker).
Bagages du Monde does take baggage for storage at several airports around France, they are a private service, they just store it off-site, that's all. So you couldn't use them for a couple hours. As I said, they charge a minumum of 7 euro a day.
