so looking forward to this trip report... and I will be making this pasta dish on saturday.
my husband and i were in spain and portugal this year, and it is such a long trip from Melbourne Australia... When i got home i said i would not get on a plane to Europe in the foreseeable future...
But.... these two pics are making me change my mind... I love Italy and I definately would get on a 21 hour plane ride to Rome.
so get those photo's together and get on with the trip report... .!!!!!

Guess we were ahead of you by a few days - we were in Piemonte, based in beautiful Neive, the last week of September then joined some friends in Lake Como. We visited La Morra one afternoon, after a glorious lunch on the terrace of Osteria Veglio in nearby Annuziata. Did you go there? One of our best meals of the trip.

Yes, we did have dinner there on our first night ( a very funny story...dinner was great). We visited Neive on the way from Bologna.
Love Piemente!!!

What gives Tom? Just because I haven't penned a trip report including our 3 weeks in France and Italy (including a fabulous week in Piemonte) doesn't excuse you from completing your mission! And yes, we had great food, great wine, and a great time. And only a few mis-adventures.

Hi, knoxvillecouple,
Don't worry - no reason to feel deprived! Tom started another TR that is as tasty as it gets (and has convinced me to visit Bologna and region next year):
