Back from Italy, any questions?
My best-friend and I went to Italy in January, and had the most amazing time. We saved a fortune booking everything ourselves, and stayed at the best locations that were lovely and very affordable. I have an entire itinerary that was very useful. If you have any questions, feel free to ask away.

Hi there,

I am traveling to Italy on my own w/ my husband at the end of October for two weeks. So far, we have only booked our air. We are flying in/out of Rome because of a great deal I got. Now, I am working on our itinerary. First trip to Europe so we want to go to Rome, Venice, Florence, Amalfi Coast, ....Any advice?

Tina, it's definitely doable. We covered the same four cities/areas in a two-week period on our first trip to Italy.
No, you won't see everything, but you won't be too rushed either. We did it as follows 3 days in Rome, 2 on the Amalfi Coast (including Pompeii), 3 each in Florence and Venice, 1 day in Milan, where we departed from.
