I imagine the concierge of your hotel would be the best person to ask for recommendations or arrangements.
I am assuming you do not speak French well, or I could give you some French agencies, but I found a website for one that has an English section and says they will send babysitters to hotels. They look pretty legitimate and I think their ending is for nonprofits. They are Allo Assistance Babychou in the 13th arr.

The agencies I've seen charge around that rate -- 16 euro flat fee plus 8 euro per hour (and extras if you must pay for a meal or late-night taxi).
Maybe someone else has a personal experience to tell you.

The baby sitter sounds like the way to go. Here is a link I found on line for a baby sitter service. I understand they are strictly regulated in France, so you could feel that they supply competent, responsible people. This service even sends sitters to hotels, I think. Perhaps other Fodorites have other suggestions.
