B&B or accomodations in Kenmare and Dingle for a family

Hello,
My family (2 adults and 2 kids- ages 9 & 12) will be traveling to Ireland (in and out of Shannon) on May 27th for 4 nights. We plan to stay in:
Kenmare (1 night)
Dingle (2 nights)
Shannon airport area (1 night)

We would like to stay in 1 room that will accomodate the 4 of us and spend around 150 euros per night.

Do you have any recomendations for family friendly places to stay in the above cities?

You will need to ask for "a family room". These come in different configurations. Probably a room with a double and two twins will work for you. In the Shannon area I suggest Bunratty Lodge. They have an excellent family room with a couple of queen beds and a double. This room also has two bathrooms. That will make getting ready in the morning much quicker. I suggest reservations there as it is a popular place.

In Kenmare try The Lodge. Lovely.

In Dingle try Greenmount. Their suites would suit your family. I agree with IrishEyes about the other two places. I spent a week at The Lodge in Kenmare.

Daly's B and B in Dingle. That is where my family of 6 is staying for 150.00 E.

Both Lonely Planet and Rick Steves recommend the Hawthorn House in Kenmare.

I wonder if Hawthorne House would have a room large enough for 4. It's a great location. Look into Shelbourne Lodge also.

The Hawthorn House website doesn't show the breakdown of room sizes, but my Rick Steves Ireland guidebook says there is at least one quad room.

Thank you for the great recomendations. I am going to email the B&B's to see if they have availability with room for my family of 4.

We are thinking that driving to Kenmare on our 1st day may be too much after an all night flight.

Do you have any recomendations of places near the airport (SNN)? Would Cliffs of Moher be a close drive? Or should we stick with the Bunratty area? Any recomendations of a place in either of these areas?

Lisdoonvarna is close to the cliffs and about an hour drive from Shannon. I've stayed at Carrigan's and Sheedy's Country House. Both places where fine. 2000 Carrigan's was a little smokey, but I bet not now. Sheedy's is very nice. Also, Doolin is just down the road near the Cliff's, many Fodorites make that their first stop. Many more B&B's.

We stayed at Emlagh Lodge in Dingle, which is just lovely. As we are just a couple, I don't know if family rooms are available- however, there was a family of 4 also staying while we were there. It's definitely worth asking, because the place is wonderful!
