Irish57, if you search Ireland and look a little ways down the list (no. 26 as I post this) there's a thread on B&Bs in Kenmare and Galway that's gotten a lot of responses. And most all of them are about Kenmare. Hope this helps.

We stayed here last April and LOVED it! The owners were great, the food was incredible, a short walk into town (although we had our car). I'd go back in a second. My favorite from the entire 10 day trip.

my wife and I stayed at The Lodge in Kenmare for 3 nights last May and liked it.
