Axa Hotel in Prague...Anybody Know it?

My girlfriend and I will be in Prague in late January and we are considering the Axa Hotel. Has anyone stayed there? Any other suggestions for a centrally-located hotel in Prague for 100 euro or less. Thanks, Rich.

Haven't heard about it but there are reviews by former guests at www.hotelsreviewed.com.

If you are going in January, you should be able to find LOTS of hotels under 100 Euro. Look on some websites:
www.travel.cz, www.marys.cz, www.athos.cz, etc, etc.. That is the low season, and most hotels are really cheap then. If you like the Mala Strana side, look into the Waldstein. Hotel Anna in Prague 2 is even cheaper, but will require a tram ride into downtown. If you like apartments, you can get a great deal then, too. Have fun!

The AXA is a 3* Czech rated hotel. It is situated about a 10 minute walk from the Old Town Square and has a popular 25m indoor swimming pool and gym attached. The rooms are tidy and square. I think it's overpried unless you get a deal. For the same money for a double, you can get a junior suite at the 3* Hotel Harmony opposite. My offer would be the hotel Antik www.antik.cz and lots more info at www.jasoncholt.com/prague

Axa is a nice one. But I would also recommend Nordic Hotel (Praha 3) - all rooms consists of a living-room (with a kitchen corner)and a bedroom. And the rooms on the top floor are 2-storeyed!!! at the moderate price.
