I had the good fortune of working in a Teuscher shop, in Toronto, many years ago. (Couldn't wait for the fresh shipments to come in every Monday. God forbid if they were delayed at the airport!!!) <BR>To this day when someone starts ranting about how amazing Godiva chocolate is all I think is....amateur! <BR> <BR>

BC good day! <BR>Hm... yes! On the other hand, if there is something you can get every day, it gets less interesting. So I just pass the Teuscher shops. But everybody does know that they cannot go wrong when bringing some Champagne Truffles from Teuscher, that's true. <BR> <BR>Yes, Betsy: Jean-Paul Hévin (a couple of branches in Paris such as Rue Vavin) *is* great as well.

Hi (esp.Ursula) Fodorites,<BR>indeed swiss chocolade culture is great.<BR>But does anybody tasted belgian pralines? I'm not talking about Godiva or Neuhaus shops somewhere in the world!<BR>(airports etc.)<BR>Like in switzerland, in belgium you will get choc (mostly dark) with the coffee. And those creation you got a fresh "Leonidas" shop somewhere in Brüssel or in antwerp, not only cost NOT a fortune, but also where so fresh,<BR>that there are worlds in between those<BR>were sold overseas or on the rest of our continent!<BR>So belgian chocolate, too. Like<BR>"Cote D'or" especially the red "Mignonettes" are perfect for a relaxing cup o coffe!<BR>Shain/eu/de/düsseldorf
