ATM in Italy, question of symbols
We will need to use ATM's in ITaly for our upcoming trip. Our bank has recently switched our MC debit card to a new one without the Cirrus symbol which I think we have always seen at ATM locations. The new CHASE Visa card has the following new to us symbols:
STAR, INTERLINK, PLUS and a "bird in a shiny box" thing.
Can anyone help me out and let me know if any of these are shown as useable in ATM's in Italy?
Thanks so much.

In my experience, most ATM cards issued in the U.S. work in most ATMs in Italy. If my card doesn't work in the first machine I try, there's always another ATM nearby where it will work. I have never worried about the symbols on my cards or the ATMs. Maybe I've just been lucky, but in dozens of ATM uses in Italy and Spain, I've never had to try more than two machines when I needed cash (but I always start looking well before getting down to my last 20E).

Thanks for your reply. I guess I get too mired in the "I want to make sure" way of thinking. Anyway, I did get ahold of Visa and no problem, the PLUS logo is pretty much everywhere.
