ATM at Gatwick
We are flying into Gatwick on 10/6 (next week) hoping we can find ATM's at the airport to get some GPB's. We did this at Shannon and preferred it to going to an exchange booth at the airport. Any one know if we will find the same at Gatwick?

Two web sites tell you where to find ATMs for the big cards. Visa and Visa Plus: http://www.visa.com/globalgateway/gg...l?retcountry=1
MasterCard and Cirrus: http://www.mastercard.com/atmlocator/index.jsp
I could not make the MasterCard and Cirrus website work, but for Visa I found these 24 hour machines

After you get through the baggage claim, go past the exchange booths and you will find ATM's. If you use Bank of America, be sure to use the Barclays machine as they have an alliance so you will pay no fees.

You didn't say if you were coming into the North or South terminal. I would guess the North terminal.
If you arrive at the North terminal you will probably take their short shuttle to the South terminal where connections to London are. As you enter the area where the shuttle is I recall an ATM on the wall.
If you cannot find one just ask anyone behind one of the counters where the nearest "Cash Machine" is.
Also, look on the back of your credit card. There will be symbols such as 'Cirrus', 'Maestro', etc. Match one of these up with the corresponding labels on the ATM and you should be OK.
