Hi,

My first trip to Europe in 2000 was through Virgin Vacations. I thought it was great and a good deal. We did not stay at the hotels that you have mentioned, we were in the Bayswater area. I know some people have posted here that they do not like that area I thought it was very conveniant to the tube and across from Hyde Park.

If you take my advice I am about to save you a lot of $$. I used Hotel!Hotel! to stay at Browns and the Royal Garden saving about 40% off room rates. I discovered this agency through Consumer Reports Travel Letter and swear by them. You will have to call England 011-44-1372-46-44-88 fax 011-44-1372-46-88-44 but it will be worth it. They get exclusive rates at most 4 and 5 star hotels in London. I don't remember exact dollar amounts but the hotels ran between 99 to 125 pounds each during the summer. Hope this helps = )
