Art Hussey update

Had a great dinner with Art last night. As usual, he is a most interesting conversationalist, being so well read. Art expects to go home for good in a week or 2, and is really looking forward to it. He will get the prosthetic device soon and will continue daily therapy at the VA hospital. He hopes to go to the SoCal Fodorites GTG in a few weeks. Art has such a positive attitude -- an inspiration to all of us.
Nice to see you again, Art. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the update. Good to hear Art is progressing. Would be wonderful for everyone if he does attend the GTG.
Please pass on our good wishes.

What is wrong with Art?? Is he ill?? I hope he wasn't in an accident. This is a very alarming post.

I am sending good Karma to Art Hussey.

ThinGorjus, read this thread:

http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34463893

In it Art, himself, explains what happened.

Thanks very much for the update. I am hoping Art does make it to the GTG at the end of the month.

Does this mean we'll be hearing from Art again once he's back home with his computer? Thanks for the update!

Art -
Hope that you will see this. Somehow, I missed the first thread. So sorry to hear about your medical problem but glad to know that you are on the road to recovery. Did miss you on the forum and was wondering where you were.

All these comments -- what a testimonial to how highly regarded Art Hussey is on this forum. I failed to mention that Art is looking forward to his future trips to the British Iles and Russia. Diane
