Are you superstitious-fly on Sept. 11?

I am doing up my itinerary for going to Europe later this year.I realized
that I would be flying there on Sept.11.
Made me pause and re-think going day
before or day after. Then decided I was silly and shouldn't change my plans. Any thoughts on this and/or flying Friday 13th etc.?

Seriously...
I could see being cautious just after the Sept. 11 attacks (which I was past Christmas of that year), but would think nothing of it years later.
It'd probably be a great day to fly - maybe other people with superstitions will stay away so you can get a whole row to yourself on the plane!

Actually that will be a good day to fly, as there would be so much awareness of travel security, etc. Life goes on, and so should your travel plans.

Last year I hoped for a big savings on 9/11. Instead airlines cancelled most of their flights. The upside would be much less congestion at airports.

Just be sure to stay in bed on Fri 13 and you'll live to 150!
