Are Scavi Tours transferable?

I mentioned on another thread that due to my own stupidity (changing the week we were in Rome and then entering the wrong dates on my Scavi request) I now have two Scavi tours set for 9:15 AM on Tuesday, June 13.

I've requested that be changed, but haven't heard. Does anyone know since I'll be there the week before if I can take this reservation there and try to switch if there is a cancellation, or can I at least get a refund by turning them in a week in advance?

Otherwise, can I transfer these to someone else who might be there then? Or would they have to present the credit card they were charged on or something similar?

I think technically they can't be transferred to someone else, since they want the name of each person, but when I was there in Sept, they didn't check my ID or ask for the credit card I used. Also, if I remember correctly, there are no refunds.

They want the name of each person? My reservation is for two people, but mine is the only name they have.

Sorry, I went by myself, but I thought they did want all names. (Maybe I'm thinking of the Ceremony of the Keys! )

An update. Today I got an email from Scavi Tours. They were able to change our reservation for a tour to a week earlier. They gave me a new date and time and said it was still the same confirmation number. So we are all set. I was somewhat surprised they were able to change it and they did it so promptly.
