Are Safety Pins Allowed on the Plane???
I will travel from the US to London and then to France and Rome. So, I will be on both transatlantic and intracontinental flights. Can I pack safety pins in my carry-on? I checked the TSA website which does not mention anything about safety pins.

I couldn't find mention of safety pins either, although I assumed they were allowed.
If anyone is interested, however, here are a few things that the TSA says you can put in your carry on (or checked) baggage (I thought some of these weren't allowed before the new rules):
- cuticle cutters
- eye glass repair tools (including screwdriver)
- nail files
- plastic knives or round bladed butter knives
- safety razor/disposable razor
- plastic scissors, or scissors with blunt tip
