Are Bit Coins Accepted Anywhere In Europe anywhere...

a traveler may want to spend money?

Hotels, restaurants, etc. - just curious if anyone has ever seen Bit Coins being accepted as money in European tourist things - not that I have Bit Coins or plan to but just curious.

Bit Coins don't exist.

There are a few bricks & mortar places tourists might encounter that accept Bitcoin.

There's even a decal for retailers, as this story shows:

Slightly more tourist-oriented:

Thanks flanner for your as usual intensely erudite info.

Bitcoins have one advantage it seems - no currency exchange charges, etc. and accepted all over the world (at a few places).

"accepted all over the world "

I think you'll find the € and US$ (and probably the Bangladeshi Taka and Azeri Manat) are accepted infinitely more widely.

Two bits was always 50 cents in U.S. coins - now a different meaning for 'shave and a haircut, two bits'.
