apartments in Hvar

I would really appreciate some recommendations for apartments in Hvar town. Balconies with a view are essential. We are not looking for budget - we would prefer to pay for well appointed accommodation and good access to the town.
We will be there on Sept 7.
Thanks
Sally

We are staying here

in September. And I second the suggestion to book now – how many nights are you staying?
When we booked (and this was months ago) we had problems finding an apartment that would rent for less than a week. But there are several Hvar apartments on this web site, and they did not have any restriction on the number of nights. Good luck!

A friend and I rented an apartment here last year - great view of the harbor though the balcony was small and at the top of a long set of stairs:

Here's another place that wasn't available but you can try:

Mnay thanks for these addresses. I am glad to say that there seem to be a few vacancies - we are just out of peak which helps. I would like to aim for the best I can at this stage and what we really want is the best possible view with a decent sized terrace. We are staying for 3 nights but there are 3 couples so that helps. I guess we could have a whole villa also.THe view over the harbour is so gorgeous isn't it.
Thanks Sally
