How about VRBO.COM

They have tons of listings with varying price ranges.

Good luck!

If you enter "Paris Apartments" here on the search function you will find hundreds of posts and dozens of appropriate agencies being suggested. But frankly I think looking through those posts at all the specific links to actual apartments recommended by other Fodorites there is a the best bet of all -- regardless of which agency it was rented through.

My husband and I rented an adorable apartment in the left bank. We went through www.vacationinparis.com The staff is very helpful and they have many apartments to choose from. Good luck!

same question -- can you tell me which apartment you rented. I think I've collected a bunch of good apartment websites but it would be nice to have some referrals re specific apartments.

Thanks

I used www.homelidays.com. with good results and will use them again. Many of the properties list evaluations from previous renters so you can get a good feel for a place based on what others have written about their experiences.

Have a wonderful trip!

Dianne, we've used vrbo, mentioned earlier, and French Connections at www.frenchconnections.co.uk.

In November I use www.parisbestlodge.com and stayed at his, "Studio Rivoli". It was very reasonably priced and a lovely quaint apartment. The best part was that it was right in the Marais across from the St paul metro station.

It's funny, I just went and looked at the site and he has my testimonial right on the front page!
