I think the "View more activity >> is ridiculous. You have to click each date? And you don't know what it is in each? Seems, no, is quite tedious. Trolling this site used to be fun; you clicked into a title that sounded interesting, sometimes in general and sometimes under your tag choice. Honestly I have started just using Google-at least you get a little preview before you open (and you do come across many Fodor's posts). For me, the changes didn't make the site more useful. It certainly could just be the way I use the site.

On a busy forum like "Europe" that will be 100, 200 or later in the day even maybe 300. All w/o clicking on a date. THEN - if you want to scroll through older threads - you can click on the pervious date. But then again there will be maybe 200+ threads - do you actually go through 300-400 threads every time you get on Fodors? Probably not - who has the time? I personally think some haven't take the time yo actually try out some of the new features.

I don't even bother w/ scanning to the bottom of the initial activity before clicking "view more activity" -- I immediately click on "View all of today's activity" at the top of the left column. That will bring up the full list.
