My husband and I frequently rent cars in Europe and always an automatic. Some of them seem to drive different.y than in the states. Last year, our car inNice was automatic but always went backwards before forwards. That scared me and I was glad I was not the driver. In Italy, many years ago we had a semi automatic. That took some getting used to also. This year in Greece, both cars we had were small but drove just like they do here. Just so you know, they might feel different than you are used to.
