Although we haven't stayed there yet, I made a reservation for an apartment for our family at the following:
http://www.palazzo-olivia.it/index.html

Jon: don't know your budget, but check out classicvacationrental.com; they have some lovely Rome apts. I dealt with Carina to book one in Venice for April and she is very knowledgeable and helpful. Good luck finding somewhere to stay. Sally PS there is a 1-800 # on website.

Hi Jon:
Try www.rentvillas.com. I have just booked two apartments near Campo di Fiori for next June for our family of 11. The site has many apartments for four people and is easy to use. We have used its rental services before for a villa in Tuscany with great results. If you avoid the Christmas/New Year holidays you should be able to find something in the range of $1000-$1200 per week. For convenience, focus on the historical area/
Ciao, Chet

It might be worth your while to browse through

http://www.domani-usa.com/rome/romeapts/index.htm

and

http://www.domani-usa.com/rome/romeapts/aptsummary.htm

And I would encourage you to call the owner, Larry Haase, directly and discuss your needs with him. He may know of other choices.

Best wishes,

Rex
The Santa CHiara hotel has 1 or 2 apartment type accommodations. The location is great and it has all the services of a hotel, including a great buffet breakfast. You can check there website for more info, www.albergosantachiara.com.

Dear Jon,

I suggest you look at the Palazzo Olivia website, www.palazzo-olivia. It is a newly restored 17th Century Palazzo, located in the Historic Center. Palazzo Olivia is just 2 blocks or a 1 minute walk from Piazza Navona, and Campo de' Fiori.
The service offers 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, for up to 6 people, with a 3 night minimum rental.

You can also try Wanted in Rome, a classifieds board for English speakers in Rome: www.wantedinrome.com

Best regards,

Jasmine Hyman.
www.scalareale.org
