Any feedback about these London Accomadations?
Kensington Close Hotel
Riverbank Park Plaza
Victoria Park Plaza
Conrad London
Guoman Hotel
Christopher Hotel
We have cut down our list to these six and looking for others if there are any similar or in this price range (no more than $300 night, $240 euros). This will be for our honeymoon and we desire modern rather than the victorian feel. Also, in your opinion are these all is good parts of the city (safe)?

240 euros a night ? That's a lot of money
I've searching lately for a hotel in London for my travel in July and I came across Kensington Close but the price was about 150 euros/night
So you can have a better hotel with your budget.
I didn't like it finally because it has no AC, though I loved the location.

My husband and I just returned from our trip which included London (haven't written the trip report just yet!), and we stayed at the Victoria Park Plaza. We bid for the room through Priceline, and we only paid $135 (yes, dollars not pounds) per night which is very reasonable for London.
The hotel definitely has more of a modern sensibility. The room was quite spacious with an attractive bathroom (glass-tiled shower). Our room also had a view of the tower of Westminster Cathedral (not Abbey) which was flood-lit at night and quite pretty.
The street where the hotel is located is not much to look at but it was certainly safe. The entire area is very busy and you would have no safety concerns above and beyond the normal precautions. The hotel is also very convenient to Victoria station (less than five minutes on foot).

I stayed at the Kensington Close Hotel for the weekend a couple of years ago, because I got a ridiculously low price on Expedia, (100 DOLLARS). For that, it was great, and it was mainly meant for just a place to crash with my girlfriend after late nights/ (mornings!) out.
The room was not at all modern, and not quite old fashioned, just very hotelish. The bathroom was nice- quite large considering the size of the room, which was not. The exterior of the building is not at all attractive or charming, if that matters to you.
As for location, it was an ideal location for the tube and shopping; and Kensington park is very nearby. Kensington (beyond the High Street) is a beautiful residential neighborhood. Also very safe, btw, but most all of London is.
That being said, I think you should be able to do better in your price range.

Hi again,
I should have checked before I wrote and posted, but I just looked at the "candid photos" of the K. Close on Trip Advisor, and the rooms appear to have been updated in the past two years.
I do seem to recall, however, our room looking nothing like their internet site photos, so if you do wind up there (it is a good value) then I would just confirm that the room you reserve has been updated if that is important to you. (And let them know it's your honeymoon- they may give you an upgrade!)
Best wishes-

If you are ready to spend $300/night - have you thought of going to Priceline and bidding on 5* hotels there?
People get them for less than $300 and I don't think any 5* thing in an area you like would disappoint you. They are all going to have modern facilities like air conditioning. (Which is what I like myself, too.)
If the Guoman is the Cumberland, I just got it for 5 nights in June on Priceline at $110.
You can look at Biddingfortravel.com to see what's happening.
