This is an old thread, but a good one. I'm getting ready for a Mediterranean cruise and will have to stop at my library to see if I can order some of these movies.
One not mentioned here is "The Comfort of Strangers" with Christopher Walken, Rupert Everett, Helen Mirren and Natasha Richardson. Based in Venice. It's a dark movie. Forever in my mind, Christopher Walken will be the character he portrayed.
