Antalya Hotels
We are going to Turkey for 3 weeks. We will be staying in Antalya for 2 nights and would like a recommendation for a hotel in the area. We prefer a smaller boutique type hotel as opposed to the big high rise but want a really nice place not a budget hotel. Any suggestions?

You can stay in Kaleici the old city part of Antalya. Tuvana Residences are suiting your description.
They are also recommended by Conde Nast Johansens (www.johansens.com)

Try to stay at the new residence part where rooms are very chick and comfortable.
Have fun in Turkey,
Murat

I also agree to stay in the Kaleici area. there are many wonderful old ottoman houses that have been re-stored into great small hotels. I can recommend the Dogan hotel and also the La Paloma.

can't find a web site however for the La Paloma hotel

Also the Turkey Travel Planner website offers some great ideas for places to stay.

Hi Dave,
If you have any other questions, I will be happy to try and help. Make sure you get your visa ahead of time--we were late getting into Moscow and it would have been a nightmare to try and deal with that after the long flights. It was also cold last May. I wore my jacket the whole time. Also you will need an umbrella if you don't like getting your camera and yourself wet.
