Just a word of warning about that hard-to-spell Anemomilos -- In Fira Town one would want Anemomilos VILLA -- and NOT the A. Suites. A reviewer warned against the latter -- it is on that very busy street downhill from the town square and is very noisy. When I read that, I remembered the location and totally agree. VILLA is the one to check out if u want something in Fira Town.

I was under the impression that the A. Suites were more central though, and that the Suites were actually kind of far from the center...
Is this not correct?

The A. Suites are right in the heart of Fira. It might be noisy and crowded there. You'll definitley be surrounded by all of Fira's commercialism and there's nothing very attractive about that part of town. The A. Villas are near to the Nomikos Conference Center, so it's in a much nicer and quieter part of Fira. But don't think you'll be isolated at A. Villas. You won't. You'll still be conveniently close to everythig Fira has to offer, you just won't have it in your lap.
