Another feedback request for Paris apartments.
I am looking for any feedback on either of these two apartments:
www.vrbo.com/97096
www.vrbo.com/97427
On this one it doesn't say which floor it is on or if it has an elevator. My limit is one flight of stairs.

The second one twice says it's on the 2nd floor. I assume that's the French 2nd, US 3rd, but it looks appealing, so you might ask the owner how many flights of stairs you must climb.
The first one is on the rue de la Harpe, a busy and I would imagine noisy street. The second one, a bit farther away from the tourist crowd if it's between the Pantheon and the Luxembourg, is still very convenient and safe for a solo traveler.

Both are in a good area. Some will think it is too touristy - but for a woman alone it is great since creperies, restaurants, metro stations, even Notre Dame are w/i yards and there are always people around. Yet not noisy because of the pedestrianized streets.
I have not stayed in either flat - but have stayed just around the corner in rue Xavier Privas - and I'd stay there again in a minute.
