Amsterdam in April

Hello my husband & I & (late 50s) our daughter (21 year old) - will visit Amsterdam mid-April for 2 days. We like sight seeing & walking & experiencing the local culture.

Please share the must-do/ see/ & recommended places to eat? We are staying at hotel near Van Gogh Museum.

Thank you in advance.

Please buy or borrow a guidebook or two and read them.

How did you decide to go to Amsterdam without knowing what you wanted to see and do there?

What are your interests, other than sight-seeing and walking and experiencing the local culture, which interest everyone who travels anywhere? Can you be more specific?

What do you fancy eating? At what price point?

There are no must-do's anywhere. Traveling is about what YOU want to do.
