Amsterdam airport transfer
Can any one tell me if there is a public train or bus service from the airport to central Amsterdam? Where do I go to pick it up and how much does it cost?
Am going to the Matisse exhibition at the Hermitage for the weekend so don't want to spend too much on transfer costs.
Thanks all

The Schiphol train station is underground. After exiting walk past all the shops toward Schiphol Plaza. Find a train schedule and take the escalator down to the right platform. Cost €3.80 to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Then take the Metro to Waterlooplein.

Follow the pictograms of the rail locomotive. The escalatros down to the platforms are just beyond the Burger King which will be on your right. There are ticket machines near the escalator entrances; to your left are the ticket windows. The trains run about four times per hour and the trip usually takes about 20 minutes.
