Amalfi Coast/Positano for 4 days

I have 4 days to spend in Amalfi Coast/Positano and would love suggestions on what to do/see while there. We are staying in Positano for our trip, but would love to plan a couple day trips. We love to hike, run, kayak, stand up paddle board, cook, drink wine, etc. Any suggestions?

Tons of ideas on this website

Cooking classes in Ravello at Mamma Agata's

Hiking - you are spoiled for choice - the positano.com website will fill you in on the many trails including the famous Path of the Gods.

SUPB continues to grow in the area. Check Fornillo Beach in Positano - the various beach clubs there rent them out. They also rent out paddle boats which will take you into some little coves nearby.

You don't say what time of year you're travelling but I assume its the summer months - various ferries run up and down the coast including over to Capri - you could head there for a day trip.

I can recommend the wine tour by Swirl the Glass. The sommelier at Le Sirenuse owns the business. They will pick you up at your hotel. We did the tour to Tramonti but they have several you could choose from. We had a wonderful lunch while tasting and the surrounding area was lovely. We loved it.

There are several companies that offer guided kayak tours that get good reviews on Trip Advisor. I am sure renting one at the beach is easy but just in case you want a guide..,we planned on doing one and just got too lazy!

Enjoy your trip!

Summer visit? Perhaps paddle your kayak north around the torre (to the right as you face the sea) from Fornillo beach in front of Albergo Pupetto to a secluded spot. Not that far.Take your snorkel mask and a picnic lunch. Very nice.

Stick to land pursuits, as the sea will be cold, but I can't imagine better hiking weather!
