Don't we celebrate All Saints Day in the US too? Certain churches?
It is the day after Halloween, so I doubt they do the All Hallows Eve kind of celebrating..more of a contemplative sort of thing ( all of this is just what I imagine, not that I know..although in Paris, one would never have known it was Halloween ( ok there was an occasional pumpkin gateau in a patisserie) or All Saints Day..

In Italy, November 1 was a huge holiday. Families return to their hometowns and visit cemeteries, leaving floral tributes to loved ones. Since it was on a weekend last year, trains were crowded as people traveled the length of the country to be together on this day. It might be similar in Spain.
