All Saints Day?

Is this a big holiday in Spain? It it similar to Halloween in the USA?

Don't we celebrate All Saints Day in the US too? Certain churches?
It is the day after Halloween, so I doubt they do the All Hallows Eve kind of celebrating..more of a contemplative sort of thing ( all of this is just what I imagine, not that I know..although in Paris, one would never have known it was Halloween ( ok there was an occasional pumpkin gateau in a patisserie) or All Saints Day..

In Italy, November 1 was a huge holiday. Families return to their hometowns and visit cemeteries, leaving floral tributes to loved ones. Since it was on a weekend last year, trains were crowded as people traveled the length of the country to be together on this day. It might be similar in Spain.
