All booked! Three weeks to go!
Three weeks until my new wife and I leave for our two weeks in Europe! Here's the itinerary that is locked down:
April 30th-London
May 4th-Paris (Eurostar)
May 6th-Wurzburg (night train)
May 7th-Rothenburg (day train)
May 8th-Munich (day train)
May 12th-London (flight)
May 13th-Home
We are planning on taking day trips from Munich to see Fuessen and Salzburg. Any comments on that, or other items on the list?

Thanks for the well-wishes! It does seem like a lot, but the last half of the trip is essentially southern Germany, so we're hoping it doesn't "feel" like a lot. We already chopped off Nice from the trip
She's been to Paris before, and I really only want to see the "big sights", so a day and a half will be fine for that. We both enjoy watching the countryside go past while on a train, so the travel between cities isn't lost time in our minds.
I guess by posting this I was looking for any specific tips we should keep in mind while traveling to these destinations.
Has anyone used Munich as a base for going to Salzburg/Fuessen? Are there any other destinations in Austria we should look at as possibilities?

I have been to Salzburg last week, while staying in Munich. You can use Bayern Ticket and it is really convenient. Salzburg is very very beautiful but the four of us agreed that we preferred much better to stay at Munich, we felt it like a more "real" city...
If you have any specific question, I will try to help
