Alitalia airline

am planning a trip to Italy on Alitalia airline. I was looking at premium economy seats. I know what these are on other airlines, but I can't find any info on Alitalia premium economy. I need more leg room. Can anyone tell me what is included in premium economy ? thanks.

If you are flying transatlantic, Alitalia's flights are usually Delta flights. If you look up the flight you are considering on Orbitz, you should be able see Alitalia's partner, plus the type of plane. You could also just call Alitalia and ask about that particular flight.

You can see a description of the premium economy seats by looking Alitalia up on seatguru.com

What is included is listed at Alitalia web site:
http://www.alitalia.com/us_en/Volare...remium_economy

If you want more info including pitch, you can google "Alitalia premium economy seat pitch" and the first entry would probably be the seatguru page http://www.seatguru.com/charts/premium_economy.php telling you that Alitalia pitch is 37-38 inches.

If you want to see how they look like, www.youtube.com and search for "alitalia premium economy" videos.

Thanks everyone. Looks like all overseas carriers offer about the same perks.

>>> overseas carriers offer about the same perks <<<

And for some reason, none of the major U.S. carriers offer comparable products. They just offer the same economy seat with slightly more pitch at the front of the economy section and call them "Extra", "Comfort", "Plus".
