Alilaguna in Venice

Can anyone tell me where I can get the Alilaguna at the airport in Venice? I think this is the best way to get to our hotel which is two bridges away from the Arsenal stop...

Just walk out to the area with all the water taxis and you will see the signs. It's very easy to find.

Which hotel are you staying at ...Hotel Ca Formenta by any chance?

Make sure that you ask if the boat you're getting on stops at Arsenal, some don't.

I took the Alilaguna from the airport when I stayed at Hotel Ca formenta last October and it was perfect!

Alilaguna is down at the docks to the left as you come out the front of the airport. It's a moderately long walk from the terminal to the dock. Personally, I'd probably just take the land bus to Pl Roma (which picks up AT the terminal) and vaporetto; I suspect that would be both faster and cheaper. Somewhat of a tossup; maybe it's just that I associate the slow Alilaguna with our last departure from Marco Polo, which was a real zoo.

Hotel Ca Formenta EXTREMELY easy to find, when you are on the Alilugana coming from the airport, you will see the hotel before you get to Arsenal. When you get off, go to the right, go over the few bridges and there it will be on your left.

I recommended the hotel to friends who are going in Sept and one of the top recommendations for me is how easy it is to find.

If you want to see how it looks from the Alilaguna, you can go see on my website, I have pictures of the hotel from the boat and of course, inside and the surroundings.

When are you going? I am so jealous, have a wonderful time!
